Mit "Enfance" legt Alma Pinta-Tourret ein Klavier-Album vor, das in 48 Minuten berührt, beruhigt und begeistert. Die 13 Stücke entwickeln Tiefe und Leichtfüßigkeit, deren Grundlage die Lust auf Experimente und Wohlklang bildet.
Ganz am Anfang wird das Album genau da verortet, wo es hingehört: Gemeinsam mit anderen in einem harmonischen Stimmengewirr, einer vielschichtigen Atmosphäre der Nähe und deren musikalischer Entsprechung. Es ist der Ausgangspunkt und der Beginn eines roten Fadens auf einem besonderen Album.
"Enfance" besteht hauptsächlich aus impressionistischen Klavierstücken, die u.a. mit dezenten Fieldrecordings, Bläsern, Streichern und Stimmen angereichert sind. So sind intime Miniaturen entstanden, die sich thematisch dem großen Kreislauf des Lebens widmen und musikalisch zwischen Klassik und Moderne liegen.
Die 13 Stücke entwickeln einen ganz eigenen Sog. Auch dank Pedal-Experimente, einiger Plugins und der Technik des präparierten Pianos, einem Grotian-Steinweg, sind die Stücke unverkennbar und außergewöhnlich.
Alma Pinta-Tourrets musikalische Vorbilder reichen von Keith Jarrett über Shai Maestro und Herbie Hancock bis hin zu Tigran Hamasyan und Aaron Parks. Eine ganz unterschiedliche Reihe von Pianomeistern also, die sich auch in den unterschiedlichen Klangfarben und Stilen widerspiegelt.
Die Tracks sind allesamt daheim am akustischen Piano entstanden und wurden zuhause oder im Novason Studio in Nîmes aufgenommen und dort von Tumi de la Cruz gemixt und gemastert.
Nach zehn Jahren klassischer Ausbildung an Klavier und Violine orientierte sich Alma Pinta-Tourret mit 18 Jahren immer mehr in Richtung Jazz und studierte Jazz und klassisches Piano an der American School in Paris und Toulouse und spielte in der Band Aenthéos gemeinsam mit ihren Eltern. Sie lebt mit ihrer Familie in der Nähe von Toulouse.
Enfance ist trotz enormer Tiefe ein Album voller leichtfüßiger Kompositionen, die gleichzeitig komplex und vielfältig daherkommen. Das Album ist eine Hommage an Pinta-Tourrets Familie und Wahl-Familie, ein Brückenschlag von Vergangenheit und Gegenwart und eine Umarmung des inneren Kindes. Es sind Momente größter Intimität, die gleichzeitig transzendent wirken und Stärke mit Fragilität versöhnen.

With "Enfance" Alma Pinta-Tourret presents a piano album that touches, calms and inspires in 48 minutes. The 13 pieces develop depth and light-footedness, the basis of which is the desire for experimentation and euphony.
At the very beginning, the album is located exactly where it belongs: together with others in a harmonious babble of voices, a multi-layered atmosphere of closeness and its musical correspondence. It is the starting point and the beginning of a thread on a special album.
"Enfance" consists mainly of impressionistic piano pieces enriched with subtle field recordings, winds, strings and voices, among others. Thus, intimate miniatures have been created, which are thematically dedicated to the great cycle of life and musically lie between classical and modern.
The 13 pieces develop their very own undertow. Also thanks to pedal experiments, some plug-ins and the technique of the prepared piano, a Grotian-Steinweg, the pieces are distinctive and extraordinary.
Alma Pinta-Tourret's musical idols range from Keith Jarrett to Shai Maestro and Herbie Hancock to Tigran Hamasyan and Aaron Parks. A very diverse set of pianomasters, in other words, which is also reflected in the different timbres and styles.
The tracks were all created at home on acoustic piano and recorded at home or at Novason Studio in Nîmes, where they were mixed and mastered by Tumi de la Cruz.
After ten years of classical training on piano and violin, Alma Pinta-Tourret turned more and more towards jazz at the age of 18 and studied jazz and classical piano at the American School in Paris and Toulouse and played in the band Aenthéos together with her parents. Despite enormous depth, Enfance is an album full of light-footed compositions that come across as complex and diverse at the same time. The album is a tribute to Pinta-Tourret's family and family of choice, a bridging of past and present, and an embrace of the inner child.
